The purpose of Four Rivers Health Care is to provide medical care to low-income families and individual, who are without health insurance, not on Medicare, or Medicaid qualify and are not charged for these services. Four Rivers Health Care “Free Clinic” opened in 1999 and provides health care by using only volunteer doctors, nurse-practitioners, nurses, and staff.
We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity for health care. Four Rivers Health Care creates that opportunity for thousands of individuals in the Treasure Valley with its free clinic. The clinic has been running since 1999, and is here to serve uninsured, under-insured, indigent and migrant workers in the region. FRHC is the primary provider for hundreds of patients that are unable to pay and/or access medical assistance elsewhere.
For the last 19 years, the clinic has ran completely on volunteers, donations and services. Patients are able to receive free services including medical exams, laboratory work, and no-cost or low-cost medications.
Our vision is to bring hope to our community by uniting patients, families, volunteers, and health care professionals through constructive acts of compassion.
